Prof. Qingwen Li, from Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics, visited CAMP-Nano on Jan. 10th, 2012. During her visit, Prof. Li gave us a lecture about her recent work on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and especially focused on how to assemble nanoscale individual tubes into macroscale fibers with high strength and multifuntionalities. Besides, several examples including hetero-integrate a nanoscale photovoltaic devices, 1D porous semiconductor nanowires and several nanostructures were presented.
